I came across this quote recently and it moved me, so I wanted to share it here.
"From the great spirit, there came a unifying force that flowed in and through all things—the flowers of the plains, blowing wind, rocks, trees, birds, animals—and was the same force that had been breathed into the first man. Thus all things were kindred, and were brought together by the same Great Mystery.” Luther Standing Bear
As long as I can remember I have felt like a piece of a whole - some days I can tune into it better than others, and it seems to be the only answer to the feelings that creep up sometimes of feeling unworthy or not good enough. To remember that I am source, and you are source - everyone is source, gives me what I need to know that I am as valuable and worthy as anyone and everyone. We are all a part of the same Great Mystery. |
