Illumination Rune Pendant in Sterling Silver

The word “rune” comes from ancient times and literally means “secret” or “hidden.” Runes were considered not merely man made, but divine in origin, believed to hold the secrets of the universe in their symbols. To speak the name of the rune, or to carve it upon an object, was believed to summon an aspect of the universe’s power.
