A little information about this website and inspiration behind it:

My name is Payson Cooper. One of my passions is creating beautiful, unique and sparkling jewelry! My training and experience ranges over 10+ years and has taken me from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City all the way to the Glendo Corporation in Emporia Kansas.  I have studies with private instructors such as Ton Herman, Cecelia Bauer, Fred DeVos and Stuart Cathey, and focused on many methodologies of jewelry making and creation from high karat granulation, metal fabrication, stone setting, wax carving, engraving, chasing, and metal carving to 3D digital design and model making. I truly and deeply love what I do, and I hope you will too! I am currently working as an assistant teacher at FIT (in 3D digital design/modeling for jewelry using Rhino3D software), have a wide variety of consulting clients and continue to develop and grow my own jewelry lines and business.

I also love working with individuals to design one of a kind, custom jewelry pieces. I find it particularly inspiring to create jewelry with someone else, it is so amazing what becomes possible when two people work together - the mix of ideas, design esthetic and training creates something completely different than I would normally come up with on my own - two minds are better than one! So, I invite you to contact me if you are interested in creating something special, whether it is a custom, hand-crafted wedding band or engagement ring, a special item to celebrate or commemorate an anniversary or occasion, or just because you want to and you deserve it (which you do!).
