A quote I love PDF Print E-mail

Here is a quote I received via email today - I get them from a few sources and find that they often help to shift my state of mind - probably one of the reasons I decided to follow through on the idea of transformational jewelry. :-)

"All of us were meant to be happy and successful. Life is more than a two week vacation once a year. It is, and can be, exactly what you want it to be. There are no limits except those you put on yourself."

~Thomas D. Willhite

Expecting Miracles Works 3-19-08 PDF Print E-mail

Over the last few weeks my family has faced a serious crisis, coming together to support one of my immediate family members who had a terrible accident. The initial prognosis, if no surgery was performed, was a 95% chance of almost complete paralysis. Surgery was performed and, now, 3.5 weeks later this person is not only up, but walking with braces, handling stairs, and beginning to be able to manipulate small objects with his hands. It is a complete miracle as far as we are all concerned - a wonderful attitude, the willingness to work hard, and a chunk of good luck - the perfect ingredients for creating a miracle! I am, every day, elated, awed and consumed by gratitude for the amazing person that he is and the incredible support and energy that have poured from family, friends and beyond. I thank you all for your help in creating this miracle!

Expecting Miracles 3-2-08 PDF Print E-mail

I have not written in a while - some things have been going on to keep me really busy. On the business side I have been prepping for two big shows happening the same weekend in two different states - one of them had to be canceled (for personal reasons), and the other I will attend from Wed through Sun of this coming week. I am nervous and excited and really look forward to sharing the Transformational Jewelry collection with this audience (the Peak Potentials crowd) at the Extreme Health event in Irvine, CA.

One the personal side, my brother was involved in an accident a week ago and had to have emergency surgery to repair his spinal cord. He is in a rehab center now working to recover basic skills like using his hands and fingers and figuring out how to walk. His right side was more affected than his left and he is being told that he has the potential for a full recovery, but it may take a year or more. He will be in the rehab center at the hospital for a month at least. And so, we come to the Expecting Miracles part...

Any thoughts, well wishes, prayers for well being that you wish to send him (John Cooper) are much appreciated. He runs his own small business and will, clearly, not be in a position to work for a while. I am expecting that miracle of him finding his balance and moving much more rapidly through this recovery than anyone expects. I love him very much and want him to feel wonderful and have a fabulous life.

Thank you - and be well.

Amazing Experience 2-21-08 PDF Print E-mail

I had an amazing experience on Tuesday...I'm not sure what to attribute it to, if it's the work I am doing to transform my life by following my bliss or joy or if it's the daily meditation or practicing of ho'oponopono or all three...either way something wonderful happened to me.

It's kind of funny to call it something wonderful when the event itself wasn't really - it's what happened in me in response that was wonderful...

I was picking up jewelry castings and molds from the casting house that I use in New York City when they told me that the silver and gold castings I asked to have sent to someone else for a portion of the processing were mis-directed. They had received the package back, but several pieces were missing. There were multiples of about 5 castings in the bag and 1 of each of 3 were taken and 2 of another - a VERY bad sign in the jewelry world. It's interesting...it is so easy to create a piece of jewelry from an existing piece in many instances that loosing castings like that can mean someone has the intention of reproducing and stealing your work. My immediate reaction was, "hmmm - that's not very good..." and I asked the person helping me if they trust the company where the pieces had gone. She said they do, have had a 20+ year relationship with them and nothing like this has ever happened before. She started to show me which pieces were missing and I realized one of the pieces was for a customer (as in a piece I created for someone else to sell on their own site - not a direct client, but someone who paid me to create a design and then make the pieces and sell to them at wholesale so they could retail to their own customers) - then I realized how big of a problem it could be. I could very well have been opened to a massive liability and started to let them know that.

One of the people working there got on the phone with the company while I was there and started pushing them to find the pieces. Turns out one of the women who receives the packages had gone into the hospital and wasn't there to answer the questions, so the owner had just said 'No' when asked earlier in the day. Now, understanding the situation better he called her. I left during the call as I didn't have time to wait and they assured me they were doing everything they could...

Now come the great part - basically as I walked down the street to my next location I could feel that I wasn't really upset. I was actually feeling very balanced, very happy and unconcerned! In the past I would have been a mess - worrying about everything - very concerned. I actually started to marvel at how NOT upset I was and started to think about ways to get more upset!! Then I realized what I was doing and realized that all the efforts I have been making to adjust my thinking, to focus my mind, guide my emotions into a better feeling place was becoming more automatic! Instead of being a slave to 'reactive' thoughts I was experiencing an automatic shift and having a great time of it!

Then my phone rang - it was the woman calling from the casting house to tell me the pieces had been located and would be sent via over-night mail and that the owner of the other company apologized for the mix-up and understood completely why it was a problem and he would have been very upset if it were him! Amazing - I kept myself in a good feeling place (whithout much effort - really easily!) and the resolution came quickly and without issue. It was the best resolution I could have asked for!

I use the transformational jewelry daily to assist my practice of feeling good and finding the better feeling thoughts, having faith and doing my ho'oponopono mantra, and I know it's working! Expect Miracles!

Personalized and Custom Rings 2-17-08 PDF Print E-mail

I am working on some great pieces for a large company right now and am thrilled to have the opportunity. I am also working on several custom pieces using the 3D digital software for direct customers and am having a blast. :-)

I wanted to post a picture of this pair of rings I created for a customer who wanted her personal mantra or phrases on custom gold rings so she would be able to wear them daily.

The customer approached me with the two phrases and her favorite font and we took it from there. Her last email said she was delighted with the rings.
