5 Easy Steps to Finding Ring Size:

Some added tips to finding ring size:

Measure your fingers when your hands are neither wet nor cold, so that you will get an accurate measurement. Not doing so may measure a ring size than may not be comfortable.

If your knuckle happens to be a bit larger than the base of your finger, use the B method. Measure both the base of your finger and your knuckle and select the size in between the two. (These methods are not ideal and may result in receiving a ring that needs some sizing changes.)

Please note that this method of ring sizing is not always accurate and may result in a ring that needs to be sized when received. If you have any questions or would like some assistance please feel free to contact us .

Tips for buying a ring for a loved one as a surprise:

  1. Try and sneak a ring that your loved one wears often and use the chart we provide.

  2. If sneaking a ring away from your loved one is not an option, ask family members or friends if they might know.

  3. If all else fails, take a guess by comparing your finger to your loved ones. Compare to your own personal ring size and take a guess! (Sometimes asking to try a ring on can give you an idea of the fit that would work best.)

You can download this Ring Sizer and print it. Prior to printing, ensure that page scaling is set to "none" on your print dialog box.

Using your printed page, follow Method A or B below:

PRINT THIS PDF PAGE

(The document is a PDF file and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader . If you do not have Acrobat Reader download it for free.)

Note: For accurate ring-size results, you must make sure that you do not have “Shrink oversized pages to fit paper size” or “Expand small pages to paper size” selected in the Print dialog box. This .pdf must print accurately or you will be using measurements that will not match correct ring sizes.

Method A

Measure a ring that fits you (or your intended recipient):

Place a ring that fits you over the circle in the printed pdf document, making sure the inside of the ring lines up with the outside of the circle. If you are between sizes, order the larger size.

Method B

Use string or paper
  1. Find a piece of non-stretchy string about 6" long, or a strip of paper about 6" long and 1/4" wide.

  2. Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger.

  3. Using a pen, mark the point on the string or paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.

  4. Compare the length of the string or paper to the lines on the paper below to determine your ring size.

  5. If you are between sizes, order the larger size.
Also, please note that generally, tapered rings will fit your normal ring size, while bands 1/4" or wider will require a half size larger.
