The word “rune” comes from ancient times and literally means “secret” or “hidden.” Runes were considered not merely man made, but divine in origin, believed to hold the secrets of the universe in their symbols. To speak the name of the rune, or to carve it upon an object, was believed to summon an aspect of the universe’s power. Since then, runes have been considered magical, and for centuries have been used as a cipher for divination, insight, and direction.
This is the rune “Uruz” or “Ur,” which represents strength or irresistible force. It can be used as a focal point to enhance and attract more of this quality into your life.
